Assessment
If we think you've got a strong application form, we'll invite you to take an online test. The test is designed to evaluate your verbal capability. We would recommend that you get a bit of practice in, so you can give it a try at www.shl.com.
There are two different application routes and here's what to expect for either route.
Interview
This isn't intended to be intimidating or scary –it's an opportunity for us to find out more about you, and equally, a chance for you to find out more about us. All your interview questions will be competency based.
Presentation
We'll send you a presentation subject to prepare for in advance. It is designed to test your commercial awareness and research skills. You'll present to two assessors.
Written
We're not testing your legal knowledge here. It's about us hearing your ideas and you demonstrating your business acumen and common sense.
Group exercise
You will need to work as a team to reach a solution to a problem. We're looking at, amongst other things, how you communicate, how you work with others and your approach to problem solving.
